TUTORIAL INSALL LINUX MINT

?1. Persiapan Awal

Sebelum install, pastikan kamu sudah menyiapkan:

File ISO Linux Mint (bisa download dari linuxmint.com)

USB bootable minimal 4GB (gunakan aplikasi seperti Rufus / Balena Etcher / Ventoy untuk membuat bootable).

Backup data penting di laptop/PC, karena proses install bisa menghapus data jika tidak hati-hati.

Pastikan laptop/PC bisa boot dari USB (atur di BIOS/UEFI).


2. Boot dari USB

Colokkan USB bootable Linux Mint ke laptop/PC.

Masuk ke BIOS/UEFI (biasanya tekan tombol F2, F10, DEL, atau ESC saat menyalakan).

Ubah boot priority agar USB berada di urutan pertama.

Save & restart ? komputer akan masuk ke Live Session Linux Mint.


3. Mencoba Linux Mint (Live Session)

Setelah boot, kamu akan masuk ke desktop Linux Mint tanpa install.

Di sini kamu bisa coba-coba dulu sistemnya.

Kalau sudah yakin, klik ikon Install Linux Mint di desktop.


4. Proses Instalasi

Pilih Bahasa ? biasanya pilih English atau Bahasa Indonesia.

Pilih Layout Keyboard ? default biasanya sudah benar (US/Indonesia).

Multimedia codecs ? centang jika ingin langsung bisa putar video/audio.


Installation Type:

Erase disk and install Linux Mint ? kalau ingin hapus semua isi disk & hanya pakai Linux Mint.

Install Linux Mint alongside Windows ? kalau ingin dual boot dengan Windows.

Something else ? untuk partisi manual (lebih advanced).

Jika pemula, pilih "Erase disk" atau "Alongside Windows".

Pilih Partisi/Disk sesuai kebutuhan.

Zona Waktu ? pilih Asia ? Jakarta (WIB).

Buat User & Password ? isi nama, username, dan password (wajib).


5. Tunggu Proses Install

Instalasi akan berjalan ±10–30 menit tergantung kecepatan PC & USB.

Setelah selesai ? klik Restart Now.

Cabut USB saat diminta.


6. Boot ke Linux Mint

Setelah restart, kamu akan langsung masuk ke Linux Mint (atau muncul pilihan kalau dual boot).

Login dengan password yang sudah dibuat.

Selesai! 


7. Setelah Install

Jalankan Update Manager untuk update sistem:

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y

Install aplikasi tambahan sesuai kebutuhan (misalnya Chrome, VS Code, VLC, dll).

Kalau butuh driver WiFi/VGA, cek di Driver Manager (bawaan Linux Mint).
